REGIONS · SAUDI ARABIA

AI campuses designed for Saudi Arabia.

From Riyadh, in the heart of the desert, to Jeddah on the Red Sea and Dammam on the Gulf, the Kingdom combines dry heat inland with heavy humidity on both its coasts. Every site calls for its own answer.

Energy

Electricity comes almost entirely from gas and oil, with gas in the lead; the National Renewable Energy Program is developing solar.

Design levers

  • Closed loop, with no water evaporation
  • Filtration against sand and dust storms
  • On-site natural gas turbines, solar and storage

A qualitative reading, to be refined site by site. Sovereignty and sustainability

CONTEXT

What frames a campus here.

  • National strategy

Saudi Vision 2030 drives the Kingdom’s transformation; the National Strategy for Data and AI is led by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA).

  • Data and sovereignty

The Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) frames transfers outside the Kingdom, and sector rules add requirements for government and financial data. Hosting in the country keeps data under Saudi jurisdiction.

  • Water

With no permanent rivers, the Kingdom relies on depleting aquifers and on desalination. Our campuses cool in a closed loop, with zero water consumption.
